McFarlane Aviation announces new FAA-PMA approval for replacement Door Springs; another part to keep customers flying! They are eligible for a majority of Cessna 182, 206, 210, and 337 models. The Door Springs function by applying pressure to the cabin door stop arm, resulting in controlled movement of the cabin door when opening and closing. The STC also covers the Piper Seneca PA-34-200T and PA-34-220T II-V models, marking the second certification of the GFC 500 in a twin-engine aircraft. More than 80 percent completion rate since 2019 EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (September 13, 2023) — The EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship program continues to make a difference for young people pursuing aviation dreams, as 400 scholarship recipients have completed flight training. The scholarship program is funded by the Ray Foundation, managed by EAA, and administered through the EAA Chapter network. Through the program, EAA is able to provide deserving youths up to $11,000 to help cover flight training expenses. EAA received $1.8 million from the Ray Foundation for 2023.
